Henry Tucker, 1190n acres, occupation licence, Miva, approved.

8 October 1903
Mrs Harry Batchelor lost in the bush on the property of Mr Tucker.

15 July 1905
Ramscliffe Farm - a property of 2400 acres owned by Mr Henry Tucker, who came to Gympie in the very early days, and for many years as a resident on Lady Mary Terrace, and verger of St Peter's Church of England. Before the drought Mr Tucker erected the necessary yards etc and started dairying on a considerable scale, for he then had over 100 broken-in milkers: but during the time of starvation, followed by the red water, 140 head of the cattle died, leaving him only 100 mixed cattle among them being 3 milkers. Those that were saved lived on the oaks and the bushes that were cut down for them. Mr Tucker was pretty successful in horse breeding and beleives in rearing animals of the "bus horse" and remount stamp, to get a quick return. He has now about 40 head, including 10 draught brood mares, and 15 - 20 mares of a lighter class. His 2 stallions are by a draught horse Duke by his old roan Duke and a grade Arab bred by the late Mr Conwell from a light draught mare bred by Mr Charles Shacht, of Running Creek. Two breeding sows and a Berkeshire boar bred by Mr W C Wilson are kept, the fattening pigs being fed on boiled maize. Half an acre has been put under sugar cane, which gave a lot of feed, on which the pigs did well, and several varieties of sweet potatoes have been tried , but the common Jerusalem has proved as good as any.
